Town officials in Sharpsburg said a new zoning ordinance could be a step forward in making a good first impression to developers. The Sharpsburg Board of Commissioners recently passed the ordinance, which tightens previous regulations so the town can take advantage of the growth that could be coming its way from Rocky Mount and the city of Wilson, said Robert Masters, interim town administrator. The ordinance addresses several aspects of town life, such as requiring would-be day cares to include fences to protect children. Source: Rocky Mount Telegraph.com
