About 20 years ago, an archaeologist surveyed properties along Halifax Avenue near Seabreeze Boulevard and found there may be undiscovered American Indian burials. After all, 50 to 55 years ago, burials were found at the South Diplomat Tower site next door. They were thought to be part of a cemetery associated with Cobblestone Village South, a Florida Department of Transportation survey states. Source: Daytona Beach News Journal online.com
