PLYWALL is a pre-engineered, pre-fabricated, site-delivered treated wood sound barrier system used for noise abatement and aesthetic/privacy screening. PLYWALL has been tested in accordance with ASTM E-90 resulting in acoustic performance superior to plastic barriers and comparable to concrete and masonry. Standard heights range from 6 - 24 feet, panel widths 8, 12, and 16 feet, and wind loads 20 – 60 PSF. PLYWALL is used for a variety of applications including: highways, residential developments, racetracks, industrial sites, airports, commercial sites, strip malls, restaurants, shopping centers, zoo/amusement parks, school/recreational facilities, railroad areas, and utility sites. Site construction is quick and simple with our post-and-panel design, requiring no concrete footings, which means PLYWALL can also be re-used for a temporary barrier as well.
